Trillium Dell Timberworks is committed to fine craftsmanship and sustainability. They seek local wood for timbers. They dismantle, move, and re-erect barns. They have recently installed a wind turbine to power one of their buildings. Another facet of their commitment is a work-study program and continuing education credits for architects. They have begun restoration effots on a timberframed grist mill in Independence, Iowa. This six-story timber frame mill dates from 1875.
